Monsoon 2022 was special for many reasons and this pic demonstrates how electric our season was! The only problem I had when I captured these bolts, was that I missed some of the lightning on the left of the image! Even at 18 mm I missed some which was disappointing!

While on vacation to Miami, Florida back in 2016, we decided to visit the famous Florida Everglades. During our time there one thing we enjoyed was the wildlife. In this photo, I captured a male Eastern Lubber Grasshopper. At around 3 inches, it was by far one of the biggest grasshoppers I’d seen.
